The only reason that the democrats even brought the bill up that passed and sets a deadline for retreat is that they know the president will veto it. They've got a couple years to do this and promote their own party as one not in favor of the war, and so hopefully get back into the White House next term. They make a bill, the president vetoes it, and they come out smelling like roses.

The First

This is my first post on my new blog posting page. I don't like Myspace. I think too many people use it and the server overloads ::shrug::. This seems much more professional.
